Update: Alien Swarm released, I spent the 2hours at launch time trying to download the game while alot of you may have noticed the steam servers seemed to get nuked, either way, as of 20/07/10 alien swarm should be available on a considerable amount of the pc's and we may be running a 'free test period' for you and your mates to test it out. Its 4 player coop, the link below will show more about the game. Singularity the singleplayer game also mentioned in this article has also been added to the front 5 PC's I suggest you check it out.
Â
So unfortunately with Alien Breed there were bugs in the game which made it hard+impossible for us to get working. And then with the router/server dying and the network being on the fritz for the past couple of weeks we pretty much gave up on adding new games. But in the last week, Gaz and me have been working on fixing the network, and have fixed the server, so we've been in the process of updating all of the pc's and trying to get some new games on. One of the first games I wanted to bring to light is a newly announced game. Alien Swarm, originally on UT2K4 has been adopted for the Source Engine (HL2) and released as a free game by Valve!
Â

Â
So what is this game? Well 4 Player Coop, blast your way through hordes of aliens using a -shipload- of weapons and do it in style. Check out the store page, video also there: http://store.steampowered.com/app/630/. This game is released on the 19th of July.
Â
Other games that are being added to the list are Blacklight: Tango Down a FPS game, and Singularity a nice little Singleplayer FPS where you can control time. Expect to see them sometime in the next 2 weeks. |

Cross Halo with a 3rd person shooter and this is pretty much what you get. Fight through a broken ship as Aliens of all kinds try and feast on you. Using a variety of weapons and items battle the single player campaign or jump on Coop mode to do it with a friend.
Â
Alien Breed: Impact is now tougher and requires more individual exploration than its predecessor. It features expanded customisability, with upgrades available for weapons that can be purchased using cash looted from corpses and lockers. If that isn't enough to whet your appetite, there are enhancements to the co-operative gameplay experience for you and a shooting buddy, not to mention the "Prologue" campaign, which takes players through an updated and expanded introduction to the world of Alien Breed.

Yeah so, after much debating and mainly boredom, I found Squeex a useable copy of Dungeon Siege 2. Yes even though Gary has had it a while it never got installed but being the awesome person I am.. I decided to installed it on the computers. Its installed on the front 5, and some of the side pc's, hopefully being on all of them by the end of the week. All userfiles are working so when you log off, change computers all your characters and data will be saved. Just make sure you log off properly and DON'T JUST HOLD THE POWER BUTTON, doing this means none of your data gets saved which may be why alot of you have been losing your borderlands characters.
